packing in the adventures

Alaska is an amazing place to live and that was so evident this weekend. We had some amazing 73-78 degree weather that provided ample opportunity for outdoor adventure.
Anita and I climbed part of the Pioneer Peak trail on Saturday. After the climb we headed over to our friends' house to top the day off by the lake. I am going to miss this place!

It's so amazingly beautiful that if I hadn't been there myself I don't know if I would believe the picture was real. Georgeous!

Hey, it's me! I wondered why I've been feeling so out of touch with you lately--I haven't been reading your blog! Silly me. Well, that's resolved. I just spent the last several minutes reading, catching up and crying. (You must not have inherited the Ingalls/Boe genes on that one 'cause we cry at Hallmark commercials, you know!)

Anyway, I just want to add my thoughts and prayers of encouragement to those of your other friends. You know I love you to pieces!
