Earlier this summer I took photos of Hallie's sister, Morgan's bridal shower. But this time is was all about beautiful Hallie. The snow is creeping down the mountains and the weather has turned cold and rainy but she decided to go ahead and do her Senior Session despite the rain. Which was cold, but looks awesome. Thanks Hallie and Lily for the hot tea and fun afterward!
This was my first shoot in old town Palmer. And, yes, despite all the no trespassing signs, Brian's mom was able to get us permission to shoot here. It was a fun change to work with some buildings and structures. Brian is an awesome guitar player and it was nice to shoot with a little background music. I am sure it helped my creativity.
The weather didn't look promising a few hours before we were to meet up at Hatcher's Pass, but it cleared off and was so beautiful by the time we met. Janessa's sweet personality and amazing brown eyes were fun to capture in the evening light. Thanks for a fun evening!
Sean's request for his Senior Session was the most unique to date. And I was excited about it! He grew up on Wasilla Lake and most importantly, he grew up water skiing. We kept rescheduling his shoot until we hit on a sunny day. I am so glad we waited because these are some fun shots.
It was a beautiful day and my first chance to use the pink chair! Which, I might add, is a fantastic prop. And thanks to Andy for carrying it down to the field for us. Devan had some fun ideas and some amazing eyes. What a fun afternoon!
We had to wait for the rain to stop. But the afternoon turned out great for Alex's Senior Session. We had a good time chatting about his cross country team and photography interests. Thanks for waiting for the break in the weather.
We met at the top of Hatcher's Pass, just below the clouds that covered the peaks. But the tundra was covered in perfect autumnal colors. Taylor was a great model and made my job so easy. And she has AWESOME hair that looked amazing blowing in the breezes.
As you can see, the Senior Portrait season is in full swing. Today's featured senior is the bubbly and beautiful, Chelsea. She came along to help Jamie when we did her session a few weeks ago and Jamie returned the favor for her friend. We had a beautiful warm autumn afternoon in the sun. I think Chelsea's yellow shirt was perfect for the sunny day and her sunny personality. But she rocked the formal, just as well. Thanks for spending the afternoon with me!
