When Katie asked me to photograph her sweet family, I was honored and a little nervous. She is an awesome photographer herself and you always want to give another photographer your very best. A Sweet Valentine

She was just as cute when I met her in 7th grade. It has been fun to watch Natalie grow into such an amazing young woman. And now she has Xavier to walk beside her. We had a beautiful Valentine's Day to do these engagement photos. This breath-taking view can be seen on the shores of the Matanuska River. Pioneer Peak is such a great backdrop for any photoshoot.

I can't wait to photograph their wedding this summer.

This adorable little guy was so sweet to photograph. His parents just beam every time he throws a smile their way and you can see why. His big blue eyes and long eyelashes are awesome!

Thinking of Sun

In honor of the daylight returning - we are gaining more than 5 minutes a day - I thought I would share a few summer photos that remind me of the warmth of summer. It is too bad that spring is so far away yet. But there is hope pouring out of these photos for everyone who is living through the frigid temperatures of winter with me.

Family Fun

This fun family spent a chilly Sunday afternoon with me along the Matanuska River. The extended family was up for the holidays and they wanted a photo memory of their Alaskan Christmas.
