Dad started chemo last Friday. He is doing pretty well with the side effects so far. We were excited that he was able to get treated in Alaska so they don't have to travel so much. They only have to drive to Anchorage for treatments and appointments. The docotor in Anchorage is also excited about working with their doctors in DC so that Dad can qualify for other drug trials in the future if need be. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. Mom has been keeping her blog updated if you want to read up on the details.

Hey Carrie. Thanks for the update. I was thinking about your dad today in fact. I'm glad he's able to stay in AK now and get more R & R time...especially with chemo. Blessings on you all! Thinking about ya!
